How will this benefit the country?

Namibia has ambitious plans towards the decarbonization of the country and increasing its plentyful carbon sinks. However, many of those plans require additional international support. Utilizing the carbon market, Namibia will be able to go beyond its unconditional climate goals & also gain foreign exchange in the process.
